
Citizens For Picture Rocks is a non-profit all volunteer community improvement organization incorporated as a 501(c)(4). It was founded in 2002 by a group of residents concerned with crime in the community. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, 7 p.m., at the Picture Rocks Community Center, 5615 N. Sanders Road. The Coordinating Committee, which takes suggestions for and sets the agenda, meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Picture Rocks Fire District Administrative Office, 12121 W. Picture Rocks Rd.

MEETINGS & MEMBERSHIP
Coordinating Committee meets at Picture Rocks Sheriff’s Station, 6161 N. Sandario Road. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m., but all are invited to come early, at 6:30 p.m, for Iced Tea Social Time, an opportunity to meet and visit with neighbors. Meetings usually have guest speakers of interest to the community, and are free and open to all.
Guest speakers have included office holders and candidates for public office, and representatives from Sheriff’s and Fire Departments, Trico Electric, Pima County Flood Control and other County departments, Old Pueblo Archaeology, Saguaro National Park, Pima Animal Care Center, Marana Unified School District, etc. — addressing a wide range of community interests and concerns.
Membership in Citizens for Picture Rocks is open to all area residents interested in making our community a better and safer place to live. Dues are $25/year for a family membership, or $20/year for an individual. Membership applications are available at the regular monthly meetings.
